This must-attend workshop is CPD accredited and will equip the attendee to understand ECG readings in a new light and will take you from the anatomy and physiology and the basics of ECG, to axis deviation and heart blocks giving you an innovative way of understanding the ECG.
The event is hugely popular so early booking is highly recommended.
The workshop will be led by Peter Luke, Specialist Cardiac Physiologist at the British of Society of Echocardiography and Emma McCone, a senior sister within one of the leading nurse-led pre-assessment units in the UK. Both speakers will discuss the following topics:
• ECG Introduction
• Atrial Arrhythmias
• Ventricular Arrhythmias
• Myocardial Infarction
• Heart Blocks
• ECG workshop
Who should attend?
Any nurse or ODP who works in an environment where reading ECG is a necessary skill. It may be applicable if you are in A& E, cardiology, acute medicine, emergency assessment, pre-assessment, primary care and much more. If you are in a clinical area where you need skills in ECG interpretation and assessment, this course is for you.
