The event features prominent speakers within infection prevention who will explore ‘infection dilemmas’, focusing on new approaches to old problems. The programme is wide ranging including presentations on a multiple award winning new surveillance strategy; a hospital’s experience of the newly emerging dual carbapenemase producing strain of Klebsiella pneumoniae; the outcomes and innovations of the Royal College of Nursing Collaborative work on glove use; CAUTIs and the Health Innovation Network as well as sessions which will explore potential solutions to the quandaries of surface decontamination, source isolation resource and culture and human behaviours.
