Critical Incident Debriefing Online
Date: 30 January 2021
Time: 10:00 until
16:00
Length: 1 day
Venue: ONLINE EVENT VIA ZOOM
The adverse psychological impact of critical incidents is widely recognised and includes anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance and fatigue. In the workplace this can lead to reduced efficiency, motivation and morale, as well as unsafe practice.
Critical incident debriefing (CID) is a highly effective process. Skilled CID facilitators are a valuable asset to many public and private organisations.
In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, CIDs will be a necessary and important intervention in supporting NHS workers and other care professionals, many of whom will have experienced significant trauma.
Drawing on our expertise as psychotherapists and psychologists, this unique one day online training will provide you with the theory and framework, as well as the skills, knowledge and confidence to conduct CIDs - either in person, or online.
The training is suitable for counsellors, psychotherapists, managers, nurses, doctors and any healthcare/care practitioners.
