In this course Dr Elaine Vickers provides an up-to-date overview of bowel cancer biology and genetics and the science behind various treatment approaches.
These include monoclonal antibodies targeting EGFR, and small molecule such as B-Raf inhibitors. She also describes the rationale behind checkpoint inhibitors for selected patients, and treatment approaches in trials.
